I've just returned from my first overseas trip and big holiday to the UK in 4 years. And boy was it a big one for many reasons, I've spent the past 4 years working on building Nurture Parenting to where it is today. Luckily this trip, compared to 4 years ago had much better internet access so I could still run this business. I even did a Skype chat to a client back in Australia in my nieces attic bedroom in the shadow of The Howgills (a mountain range) in the Yorkshire Dales!!!
Meeting my nieces
I got to meet my nieces Freya for the first time since she was 2 weeks old and Tilly. Last time 4 years ago I was playing the midwife sister to my new mum sister, Lesley.
Here's a flashback blog to then.

And this time I got to meet her little sister, Tilly aged 3yo and my great-niece Nena. And my older niece, Gemma got married.
Beatrix Potter 150 years
So it was a very busy 3 weeks. And I got to see the Beatrix Potter show, Where is Peter Rabbit on the actual 150th year anniversary DAY in Bowness on Windermere. How cool was that? I am a total Beatrix Potter raving fan. My uncle John used to live next door to her and she lived where I'm from, The Lake District. My sister took my mum, the girls and myself. We had the best day out as did Freya and Tilly. And I managed to fit in a BIG birthday too. Me and Beatrix are born 100 years apart!! Haha ;-)Click on these video's below - Rabbit and Hedgehog - to see some seriously cute stuff from Freya and Tilly at the Beatrix Potter after show.
