Samantha Hobbelen - Mum of 2
The inside info to newborn sleep essentials. Karen shares everything she has been teaching parents over her 28 year career of midwifery and unlocks the secrets of great newborn sleep. Not only is it a must read, but the essential information contained in this book changed our life. We went from having a baby who cried for 4-5 hours overnight to a baby who slept through. We still refer to Karen in our household as ‘Karen Poppins’!
Allana Parkinson - Mum of 2
Karen is one in a billion a true gem. I cannot recommend her highly enough to any new parent or parent of a non sleeping child. Karen has saved our lives literally twice with our two girls who had colic and reflux respectively. Sleep was just not happening for anyone in our house. Karen has a wealth of experience, knowledge and education behind her which makes her a wealth of information and full of hot tips from the best diet to help with sleep through to baby massage. After speaking with a number of 'baby sleep experts' in two continents no one comes close to Karen's level of knowledge and actual ability to help and truly fix the sleep problems. I just wish I had known Karen existed the day my first daughter was born.
Michelle Robinson, Mum of 1
I spent more time preparing for labour than for what came after. I thought I'd learn what I needed to know in the hospital after bub was born but the staff were stretched and busy. Thankfully Karen's book is the ultimate cheat sheet of baby basics. My baby now sleeps better and longer. In these days of overwhelming information it's refreshing to be given exactly what you need from a trusted expert.
Kristy Fairbairn, Mum of 3 including twins
Such an easy read and layout. Love the flexible routine. I like to go with the flow but having some ideas is awesome.
