Help with language skills
If your toddler needs a bit of a help with their language think about tacticle nursery rhymes - rhymes with actions. My three faves are - The little green frog, incey wincey spider and old Macdonald had a farm. To maximise success try and repeat every day. Actions, words and rhyme really bring language along.

(actions = stomp foot when you say splat)
But we all know frogs go

Down came the rain and washed poor Incy out
Out came the sunshine and dried up all the rain
And Incy Wincy spider climbed up the spout again.
Incy Wincy spider climbed up the water spout
Down came the rain and washed poor Incy out
Out came the sunshine and dried up all the rain
And Incy Wincy spider climbed up the spout again.
Head, Shoulders, knees and toes!
Another goody. Have a practice and do it together with your toddler, so important for learning!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ka7d-13iWbA
