Biennale of Sydney

Biennale of Sydney
Last weekend I went to the Biennale on Cockatoo Island and caught a free ferry from Circular Quay.

It was awe inspiring and really got my creative thoughts going. I explored and re-discovered my inner child. It's never usually far away, as those who know me well, will agree!

Here's a few pics from an amazing day.

Those of you who live in or near Sydney and especially those with children, please take your kids down there. You will not regret it.

It closes on 16th September.

My favourite bit of the day was running through the lengths of rope, suspended from the ceiling and running through, as though I was in a rope forest. Children would just love the sensation of it. Magical.

Then on my next day off I ventured down to the Museum of Contemporary Art at Circular Quay. Entry is free. Again plenty for the children and the adults.

On my way out, I went into the shop and my oh my, what a treasure trove.

Amazing books on how to teach your children to draw...all in stages...I fell in love and purchased.

My drawing age is around a 3 or 4 year old. These books are easy enough for little old me. I feel a spot of drawing coming on...

Too cool for school.
